2-金刚烷胺盐酸盐用于制备2α-(羧甲肟)-橄榄霉素I的2-金刚胺。2-金刚烷胺盐酸盐经4-氟-7-硝基-2,1,3-柱前衍生后的HPLC测定对苯并噁二唑进行了研究。还用作有机合成、医药、农用化学品和染料的重要原料和中间体。
