2-(3-Carboxyphenyl)-1-piperidinecarboxylic Acid 1-(1,1-Dimethylethyl) Ester, is 2.3-disubstituted piperidine, which has many applications in synthetic chemistry. It can be used in the synthesis of the neurokinin receptor antagonists (+)-L-733,0606 and (+)-CP-99,994;7 as well as (2S,3R)-3-Hydroxypipecolic Acid, a constituent of the antibiotic Tetrazomine.
