(S)-2-(2-Chlorophenyl)oxirane is used as a reagent to synthesize triazoles (e.g. T296320) and tetrazoles, compounds that act as anticonvulsants and could potentially be used to treat disorders such as ADHD, stroke and neurodegeneration.
