6’-Desmethyl-6’-ethylhydroxy Etoricoxib is an impurity of Etoricoxib (E934100), a selective cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor that is used to improve the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
