5-Fluoro-2-(4-fluorophenyl)-4-(trifluoromethyl)-1,3-oxazole can be used to study synthesis and reaction of 5-azido-4-(trifluoromethyl)-1,3-azoles. It may also be useful in the preparation of substituted (trifluoromethyl)azoles as herbicides.
