5H,6H,7H,8H-[1,2,4]Triazolo[4,3-a]pyrazin-3-ylmethanol Dihydrochloride is a salt analog of 5H,6H,7H,8H-[1,2,4]Triazolo[4,3-a]pyrazin-3-ylmethanol (CAS# 945262-31-7), which can be useful in the design and synthesis of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitors, and in the preparation of fluorinated β-aminoacyl 1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-a]piperazine amides as dipeptidyl peptidase IV inhibitors and antidiabetic agents.
