4-Hydroxyphenylpyruvic Acid is general organic reagent used in the synthesis of latifolicinin A analogs as inhibitors of breast cancer. Also used in the preparation of amperometric biosensors for b-triketone herbicides based on hydroxyphenylpyruvate.
