1-Methoxy-N-methyl-N-(trimethylsilylmethyl)methanamine is a stable precursor to an azomethine reactant used in cycloadditions; initially reported (ref 1) in the preparation of asenapine (A788000); more recently used in the synthesis of HDAC Inhibitors (ref 2).
