Perfluorohexanoic Acid is a perfluorinated compound (FPC) that can cause acute toxicity to humans and the environment. Perfluorohexanoic Acid is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,7-Undecafluoro-2-heptanol (U787500).
